What this tool does

A lorem ipsum generator creates placeholder text for mockups, wireframes, templates and test content. Pick how much you need, and get readable-looking filler that shows how a layout handles real copy without anyone getting distracted by what it says.

How it works

  1. Choose whether to generate paragraphs, sentences, words, or list items.
  2. Set how many you need, and pick plain text or HTML output.
  3. Click Generate New Text for a fresh variation, then Copy Text to paste it into your design.
Example: Building a blog template? Generate 5 paragraphs as HTML and paste them straight into the article body to see how spacing, line length and headings hold up.
Yes. The lorem ipsum generator is completely free, with no signup, no watermark, and no limit on how much text you generate.
Lorem ipsum is scrambled Latin placeholder text, adapted from a work by Cicero, that designers and developers use to fill layouts before the real copy is ready. It looks like natural text, so it shows how a design reads without distracting anyone with meaning.
