What this tool does

A file joiner reassembles the pieces of a file that was split for uploading or emailing. It sorts the parts by number and glues them together in order, producing a file identical to the original.

How it works

  1. Upload all the parts (the order is worked out from their numbers).
  2. Check the order and the output file name.
  3. Join and download the original file.
Example: Upload "video.mp4.001", "video.mp4.002" and "video.mp4.003" in any order — they are sorted automatically — and download "video.mp4", identical to the file that was split.
Yes. The file joiner is completely free, with no signup, no watermark, and no limit on how many times you use it.
No installation is needed — it runs entirely in your browser, on desktop or mobile, and works the same way on Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android.
It joins any byte-split parts — such as name.ext.001, .002, … from the File Splitter, HJSplit, 7-Zip or similar tools — back into one file. CSV parts with a repeated header can be joined keeping just the first header.
No. Your files are read and processed inside your browser and never leave your device, so nothing is stored, shared, or used for anything else.
Yes — "file joiner" and "join .001 files" describe the same task. This page is built to handle that search directly, without redirecting you elsewhere.
